We began early in the morning to Ranikhet, desired to conquer traffic until Rampur but maybe not to be. The instant we crossed Ghaziabad, the fog took on the street entirely, and nothing was visible past the vehicle, no exaggerations, the one thing that kept us going was after a roadways bus!!
We had great hearty breakfast in Tadka in Gajraula, the only beautiful spot to have meals on the road but the travel remained uneventful. After we grabbed the kathgodam, the visitors only vanished, the street stayed pleasant and comfortable. The driveway was around 11 hours. With ancient morning foggy weather, this day has been high blue skies, lush green hills and oxygen-rich atmosphere with birds chirping away.
Ranikhet would always be extremely appealing for some nature enthusiast; the panoramic beauty contrasts you. It remains a military Cantt. Area, the streets only unwinds unmindful of this glory it retains.
It's regarded as outdated as the year 1900, fancy window frames and the big rooms have maintained the pristine glory in its authentic form even now. The director told that you could observe fantastic Nanda Devi and complete range from chambers and the backyard. It was late night; we can see nothing and instead slept early. Ahem Ahem !!
Meraki Homestay
There are some beautiful trails throughout the hotel and also went deep in the woods. A number had told us of the natives that visiting a leopard is a frequent sight, fortunately, didn't undergo this algerine rush.
But saw some pug marks and scrapes on a number of the trees and have been forced to think that a number of the stories we noticed from the chowkidar in the hotel weren't entirely untrue. There was an awesome number of fauna and flora to be gotten there, a world apart from the pressure of daily chores we stay tired with.
We had a great experience at Meraki Homestay. It is the best place to stay in Ranikhet with beautiful view.

Went little farther to see sunset stage, another location where you can see skies changing its colours in setting sunlight and gradually sun went off.
The sublime views
It was two times in Ranikhet, and following day we began early to visit Corbett about how but took a wrong turn ( rather than turning left for Ramnagar, we moved towards kathgodam) then it was over, went back into Delhi in great 12 hours' push back.
All in a superb trip :)
